Week 4 of my Journey

This Weeks Weight Loss


Since the Beginning

This week I decided to make some new goals this week after talking to the dietician last Friday (1/26). I decided to track my Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat intake to see how they affect my weight. 

15% to 45% of Daily Calories

45% to 65% of Daily Calories
20% to 35% of DailyCalories
This is just the beginning and middle of the first week. I will post more about my observations in a few weeks. 

I also joined more Challenges!The Challenges on Lose It! keep me motivated and on track. 
February Logging starts today! I am excited for "Step It Up" to start up in 11 days. I want to see how my step counts compare to the others in the challenge. I am also hoping that it will motivate me to start stepping MORE!


These are my current step counts with a goal of at least 8,000 steps a day.
The past 3 days i have done 9,458 (1/29), 9,450(1/30),  and 10,902(1/31).


 I also wanted to share with you guys a very yummy recipe that I found for egg salad.  What you will need are the following:

2 Hard Boiled Eggs

1/8 TSP Garlic Powder

1/4 TSP Dijon Mustard

2 TSP Mayo

Pepper to Taste

 

ONLY  220 Calories! 

(Could be less if I hadn't used regular mayo)

I put the Egg Salad(220) in Romain Lettuce Leaves(15) to make Wraps. I paired the wraps with fresh strawberries(46), grapes(31), Campbell's Chicken and Stars at Hand(70), Snack Well's Yogurt Covered Pretzels(100), and Special K Sour Cream & Onion Cracker Chip(110) for my lunch and snacks.in total my snacks and lunch equaled 592 CALORIES!

  1. Hey there. I'm currently going through a weightloss journey too! I have been using MyFitnessPal to track my weight loss. I'm on the 1st day of week 4 and I'm already 8 lbs down. I'm pretty proud of myself. I keep meaning to write a blog post about it but I just haven't found time. I know, I'm a slacker lol

  2. I started the beginning of January when I got my Fitbit ONE! I have the problem of wanting to do something and then putting it off if I don't make myself do it right then and there.... Oh wait its called PROCRASTINATION LOL. Thank you for the comment Kelly and good luck with your weight loss journey. I'm here if you need a boost!
