Enjoy!
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey there! My name is Kelly. I'm a 25 year old newlywed, social media addicted, country music loving, all things pink girly girl. I make my home at Today Was A Fairytale where I blog about crafting, photography, books, recipes and everyday life as a new wife.
For Christmas my amazing hubby got me a Cricut Expression. For those of you that don't know, it's an amazing little machine that can be used for everything from scrapbooking to making cards to cutting out vinyl. In the words of my three year old nephew "it's amazing!"
Of course now that I have this bad ass crafting machine I like I need a bad ass crafting room to use it in. That only makes sense right? I have the room {and it's finally cleaned up} now I just need to start making it amazing. So naturally I took to Pinterest to get ideas. Here is what I've come up with so far..
I have seen a couple different versions of this, but I really like the idea of having a table in the closet. It makes it easy to just close the doors and hide everything if you need to. I don't like having to pick up everything if I have to stop in the middle of a project {which is why I love the idea of a craft room} and being able to just close the doors and hide the mess would be amazing. Especially since my craft room is also our guest room. I don't have the right kind of closet to do this in our apartment, but maybe when we get a house.
The desk that I have has a hutch type thing that sits on it. I love that it gives me some extra storage, but I really like the look of this desk. I like how the calendar is front and center and easy to see. I love the black and white color scheme and think it looks both fun and modern, but very "grown up" and classic at the same time. I really like how the desk is just two file cabinets with a thick piece of wood over them.
I love the storage in these next two pictures! I like the idea of getting little cubes and filling them with baskets or drawers to organize craft supplies. One of my best friends did this in her craft room and it looks amazing. Everything has a place and even though she has a lot of stuff it doesn't look cluttered.
As you can see I have some big plans for my craft room. I just hope that someday I'm actually able to do some of them!
Thank you so much to Kayla for letting me take over her blog today!!
