Sweetheart Swap Reveal!

The Reveal!



My Sweetheart for this swap was Beth over at Living a Goddess Life. She is a really great blogger and I am proud to say one of my new bloggy friends.  I found this swap through Chaotic Goddess Swaps. (Which Beth is a Co-Founder)


Beth and I have been talking for the past month to get to know each other. I found out she has a passion for gardening, baking, costumes and LOVES SPICY FOOD!

This Weekend I ... 2.25.13

We stayed in and RELAXED!

Saturday
I had to WORK!

Sunday 
 This is the 1st day of my WEEKEND!
It started off with breakfast at Bristol Bakery & Cafe
Dan had a Maple Glazed Cinnamon Bun & I had  Sesame Bagel and we shared a side of Home Fries
 We then went for a walk with the puppy. 
We spent the day at my parents house. We helped my mom with assembling her paintings for her show! You can see her paintings in this post. After that we came home and spent a relaxing evening with a frozen pizza for dinner.  
 


Monday
Today is my Sunday! I am going to spend the day catching up on watching T.V shows, blogging, and maybe doing so dishes and laundry. And cooking the Hubby dinner.

This is a a WONDERFUL book. My Husband and I are starting to raise chickens this year. I am trying to learn everything I need to know. The Authors give their recommendations on everything from birds to bedding to coops. For a total BEGINNER  this is an AMAZING book.

Every self proclaimed prepper know that CANNING is ESSENTIAL to a well stocked pantry. Dan and I can EVERY YEAR! We make pickles, dilly beans, pepper jelly, pickled beets and this year pork stew. This book gives good tips on water-bath canning and pressure cooker canning. TONS of recipes!

1C. WASHING SODA
1C. BORAX
1 BAR FELS-NAPTHA

You grate the Fels-Naptha in to fine pieces. You then mix all the ingredients together. 
& WALLAH you have LAUNDRY SOAP! 

1 TBSP per LOAD
