Friends Friday- Kenzie 5.31.13

I would LOVE to introduce the Lovely Kenzie from Life & Lemons! She is here to tell you why she would make YOU a Great new FRIEND! Go check her blog out! (After you read her post here of course)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey, I'm Kenzie!
I blog over at Life & Lemons. My blog, much like my life, is totally random and sometimes makes no sense. I love link ups, challenges, and setting random goals.. and sometimes you will find all of that in one post. I've pretty much mastered cramming as much stuff in one post as possible. Want to know more about me, head over to my About Me page!
Before I get too into this, I want to say a huge thanks to Kayla for letting me guest post today!
Now, without further ado here are 5 reasons I think we will get along great!
1. I have the gift of gab. Doesn't matter what you want to talk about, because I love talking about anything and everything. I'm a total people person and always have the juiciest stories. Ask any of my friends, I'm pretty dang entertaining.
2. I'm up for anything. Got a fun idea? I'm game. Growing up I was always labeled as a 'bad influence' when in all reality I just never said 'Hey, that's a bad idea, we shouldn't do it' instead I figured why not! You only live once. P.S. You'll never catch me saying 'yolo'.
3. If someone is going to stick their foot in their mouth, it will be me. Some of my most hilarious stories come from instances like that. You will benefit greatly from this.
4. I'm appropriately inappropriate. If that even makes sense.
5. We both blog.
If those aren't enough reasons for us to be friends forever, then.. well I don't know. I didn't think that far ahead. ;D
Prism Book Tours: The Battle for Princess Madeline Review
On Tour with Prism Book Tours...
The Battle for Princess MadelineThe Battle for Princess Madeline
by Kirstin Pulioff
156 pages
Published May 29, 2013
The Kingdom of Soron bustled with activity as preparations for the Fall Festival began. Lively merchants, hardworking farmers, and musicians eagerly awaited this event of harvest and joy. This year’s festival was even more important, as they celebrated Princess Madeline’s betrothal to her knight champion, Daniel.
Celebration quickly turns to disaster as Prince Paulsen returns with curious demands, either Princess Madeline will be his, or no ones. Rejection turns to obsession and battle is declared.
In a tense struggle to decide her future, Princess Madeline must choose where to put her trust… in the king’s tried and true plan, the wizard’s cryptic messages and maps, or her own sense of bravery. Follow Princess Madeline on this adventure as she battles evil in an attempt to create a future of love and magic.
I read both The Escape of Princess Madeline and The Battle of Princess Madeline. I LOVED both of the books and can not wait for the third one! So these books may be a little on the YA novel spectrum (but who doesn't love them anyways!) So if you have a TEEN I would recommend these books Highly or if your a kid at heart! Both books are very well written and believing you are right in there with all the characters.
The Escape of Princess Madeline introduces us to the kingdom of  Soron. Madeline wants control over her future, the book opens with her father giving her a beautiful dress. Madeline later finds out she it supposed to wear this beautiful dress to her betrothment ball. This book is all about how Madeline gains control of her future.
The Battle of Princess Madeline is the sequel of  The Escape of Princess Madeline in which the kingdom of Soron is threatened by a would be suitor from the first book. The suitor is infatuated with Madeline and will not see her with anyone else! This book is about how good triumphs over evil (with the help of a little magic).
All in all I highly suggest these books for teens or those who love YA novels!
Say Goodbye to Dishpan Hands! {Palmolove Soft Touch Review}
So I was one Lucky Dick this month an received TWO... YES TWO boxes from Influenster!
The first was Palmolive Soft Touch!
So Influenster not only sent me to bottles of Palmolive Soft Touch, both were FULL SIZE! Yes two FULL SIZE bottles of dish soap...
Aloe & Vitamin E
You maybe wondering why I am so excited over dish soap well my Hubby and I don't have a dishwasher... Yes you heard me correctly no dishwasher....
So that means we do ALL of or dishes by hand. We are already religious Palmolive users (to the point we stock up on it when it goes on sale at my work).
The Hubby POPPED open the Palmolive Soft Touch Vitamin E. Not ONLY does it smell divine (yes this hand soap smells THAT GOOD!) your hands don't PRUNE while washing the dishes!
So this product is TOUGH on Grease but SOFT on HANDS!
Will we be buying Palmolive Soft Touch from now on? YES!
BTW it ONLY costs $2.99 at your local Walmart!
Check out other opinions HERE!
**I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes**
Goodreads Synopsis
Everyone has a bad day. Graduate student Ian Nash has lost his girlfriend in addition to being dropped from a Ph.D. program in theatre at a Southern California university. When he stops at a local coffee shop in the lobby of a bank to apply for a job, the proverbial organic matter hits the fan. A gang of four robs the bank, and things get bloody. Ian is taken hostage by the robbers when the police show up. Now he has to save his life.
FBI Special Agent Aleece Medina's analysis of the bloody bank heist drives her into the pursuit of a robbery gang headed by two women. She doesn’t anticipate how this robbery will pit her against both the bandits and the male higher-ups in the FBI while the media heats up during a giant manhunt.
The robbers are about to kill Ian, and all he has at hand is his knowledge of the stage.
My Opinion
I enjoyed this book IMMENSELY! This book was very well written. I have never read any of Christopher Meeks other books but that is about to change! This book introduces us to Ian Nash who we meet on the "worst" day of his life. Ian walks in on a bank heist and is taken hostage. Aleece Medina who has been tracking "The Busty Bandit", the gang of robbers that kidnapped Ian. Meek's fleshes the characters out to be believable and flawed. There are times through out the book were you along with Medina, want to ring Ian's neck. You learn about both Ian and Aleece's faults and how they begin to fix them by the end of the novel (second novel?). I would highly recommend this book to others, so go pick up a copy NOW!
