I used the recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book 14th Edition.
Basically you have flower, eggs, some sort of cooking oil, and water all mixed together. We added in some off the shelf italian herb mix. The recipe suggested Basil, but I could not find it. Found after thanks to Kayla.
Mixed it all up in the food processor adding in a little water at a time until I got a ball of dough.
Made it into 4 small balls, let it rest then flattened it out with our rolling pin and let it rest again.
I rolled the dough up like a pin wheel and sliced it into noodles, unrolling it and putting it into already boiling water seasoned with salt with a touch of oil in it. I sadly did not get a picture of this step.
The finished product with a little homemade garlic bread, using bread I actually made.
The noodles ended up being very delicious. They were however a little on the thick side. Next time I do this I am going to attempt to roll it thinner and make my cuts smaller. Kayla said the thickness of the noodle would have made good lasagna noodles. But over all not bad for a guy with a food processor and a rolling pin. May I add I did this all while Kayla was napping 15 feet from me, and I did not wake her up once.
